I had really good days staying at this cheap hotel. The room had central heating, a work desk, and a flat-screen TV with cable channels plus smoke detectors, provided for safety measures.

location was perfect for the purpose of my trip. Near the north station and subway. Just a short walk from downtown.. price of the accommodation is acceptable.. reception is open 24h (important for me, since I arrived almost at midnight) and facilities at the reception are correct. Normal room, meets objectives. For one night well.. two maybe. little more.. Bathroom correct. Clean and water with good temperature (very hot).
hotel, you go up to the room, becomes a bit of a house of horrors. Okay, that's an exaggeration, hallway to the rooms is a little scary. It's a bit gloomy and feeling, from the moment you're in reception until you get to the room, is that you've gone back 50 years in time. room is normal, zero luxuries, little dark and there is no hairdryer (fortunately I had read that I didn't have one and I had mine in my suitcase). You can hear a lot of noise from people taking the elevator on the same floor. Like a 3 star hotel.. loose.

The location was particularly good, to Bruxelles-Nord railway station, and my bed was large. Plus, it was just next door to the square, metro, shopping center, beautiful brussels, and underground stations. The breakfast was savoury and perfect with a huge variety of choice.

Check-in was very quick, as I have been there a few times. Comfortable and not ostentatious room and furnishings. Good breakfast. Close to metro.

Good location relative to attractions, great breakfast, they clean and change towels every day
The room is stuffy, no air conditioning. The soundproofing's not good.

The accommodation was clean and the staff were extremely friendly. The twin room came with coffee, tea, and a lovely bathroom. The breakfast was savory and there was plenty of food. The hotel's location is particularly good and unbeatable, close to an underground station if needed. The cozy area was really enjoyable. it was a fine stay for a business trip.

It is a simple hotel where you just put your stuff and return for your sleep and shower. Not a romantic place but well situated if attending to business, conferences and similar. If you are not picky it serves right even for holiday base camp, however you don't want to spend a lot of time inside. A good, fresh and healthy breakfast is served... Buffet. Check-in and out very efficient. It is a pity there is no airconditioning for during the odd heat wave. Otherwise I'd book there every time I need to visit Brussels.
The rooms are small and warm in summer. But still if you are on a budget it's fine. If you want the Ritz, why are you looking at three star hotels??

The clean simple rooms!
I think a painting of the outside and inside walls of the building would be nice. It would change the whole image of the hotel..
